Our profession has lost a remarkable person. William McGuiness passed away on September 19, 2020. Bill was the original Prosthetic and Orthotic program head and instructor at BCIT.

Bill was responsible for developing a program that educated hundreds of P&O students. His impact on our profession is unparalleled. From an infant receiving a hip orthosis to an elderly patient using a prosthesis, Bill has his hand in all our treatments.

Bill was always smiling. He was a caring compassionate man how was always smiling. Bill leaves behind his wife Catherine, daughter Megan, son Patrick and their families.

Funeral mass will be live streamed Saturday October 3 at 11:00
