Do you have a passion for working with children and adults with special needs? Island Health is seeking a full-time Certified Orthotist at the Queen Alexandra Centre Orthotics, Prosthetics & Seating Program.
In this role, utilizing a client-centred approach and working within the context of a multidisciplinary team, you provide and manage comprehensive orthotic care for patients of all ages.
Relocation assistance is available for the successful candidate.
- Certification by the Canadian Board for Certification of Prosthetists and Orthotists (CBCPO) in good standing
- Two years of recent, related experience in orthotic assessment and design for children and adults with multiple handicaps
- Eligibility for membership with Orthotics Prosthetics Canada (OPC)
- A valid class 5 driver’s license
One year of supervisory experience and attendance at relevant workshops, seminars and demonstrations considered an asset.
